  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup cornflour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour, mixed with 2 tablespoons water
