  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, sliced into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
